FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- When Stacie Siebert couldn't get a home improvement company to come back and finish the job on her Fayetteville home, she got in touch with the ABC11 Troubleshooter.
When paying good money for your home to look nicer, you want the job done right.
Siebert paid in full before looking over the finished job, but, once she took a look at the work, she found a problem.
"I looked at each end of the house and these two ends looked different than the other two ends and that's how I noticed there was a problem," said Siebert.
It was a problem that Siebert wasn't going to accept.
"Some of the siding was cut too short, and there were gaps on both ends," said Siebert.
Home Exteriors of Fayetteville originally did the job back in August. Soon after the job was done, Siebert said she contacted the company about the problem.
"I made several contacts and I was told they would send the contractor out to correct the problem," said Siebert. "However, that never happened."
Siebert said her calls soon weren't being returned.
"Very frustrating because I felt I was being ignored, and, since they were paid already, they had no incentive to come out and correct the problem," said Siebert.
Siebert reached out to me and I got in touch with Home Exteriors of Fayetteville. It didn't take long for a crew to be at her home and finish the job.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you," said Siebert. "I could not have done it without you."
Siebert is now happy with the finished job. Home Exteriors of Fayetteville never did get back to me to explain why it took so long to get someone back to Siebert's house to finish the job.
