The North Carolina Highway Patrol reports no children were hurt when a car slid into the back of a school bus Friday morning.

There were 13 students on the bus when the accident happened around 8 a.m. at Tarboro Road and Hwy 401.

Troopers said the car driver would be cited for failure to reduce speed.
