Students at UNC examine Trayvon Martin case

Wednesday, September 18, 2013

African-American students at UNC-Chapel Hill talked Wednesday evening about the Trayvon Martin case and whether it could happen locally.

The Black Student Movement and the NAACP sponsored the panel discussion.

Many say fallout from Martin's shooting and George Zimmerman's acquittal impacted their lives every day, and they are looking at ways to bridge the divide

This was the third of a three part series on race, law and the media at UNC.
