HENDERSON, N.C. (WTVD) -- Police have issued a crime alert in Henderson.
A 35-year-old woman told police someone kidnapped and assaulted her in the downtown area around 5:55 a.m. Thursday.
The victim said she was getting out of her car when the suspect kidnapped her and forced her to drive to another location where she was assaulted.
If anyone has any information related to this crime, they are encouraged to call the Henderson Police Department at (252) 438-4141 or Crime Stoppers at (252) 492-1925.
Crime Stoppers may offer a reward up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
