Fire damages Johnston County home

BENSON, N.C. (WTVD) -- A Johnston County house fire is under investigation.

The fire broke out at the home on West Watson Road in Benson just before 3 p.m. Thursday.

Flames destroyed much of the home's roof.

No one was home at the time.
