FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Police say a pedestrian was hit and killed by a car in Fayetteville Wednesday evening
They say it happened just after 7:20 p.m. in the 1900 block of Cedar Creek Road, near the Hampton Inn and Interstate 95.
A driver, 27-year-old Joshua Lee, struck 75-year-old Florence Weiner, of East Windsor, N.J., who was attempting to cross the road.
The investigation into the incident continues.
