Fight breaks out at Smithfield hookah bar

SMITHFIELD, N.C. (WTVD) -- One person was taken to the hospital after violence broke out in the parking lot of a Smithfield strip mall.

Authorities responded to a call of a fight at Hookah House on Venture Drive on Saturday around 2 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers found a male victim in the parking lot in need of medical attention. He was later transported to WakeMed.

Just a short distance away, police arrested 19-year-old Trenton Kyle Hensley, of Kenly. He is being held under $50,000 bond.
