NEW YORK (WABC) -- This week, we'll talk with the three candidates in New York's Republican Senate primary, who are vying for the nomination to challenge incumbent Democrat Kirsten Gillibrand.
In a state where Democrats outnumber Republicans two to one, they are determined to beat the odds and become the next Repubilcan Senator representing New York.
It is the only statewide race in New York.
The candidates are Congressman Bob Turner from Queens, Manhattan-based attorney Wendy Long, and Nassau County Comptroller George Maragos.
Our discussion ranges from stimulating the economy here at home to stopping the violence abroad, and their approach to taking on Sen. Gillibrand.
