MORNINGSIDE HEIGHTS (WABC) -- One person died and four others suffered injuries after two vehicles collided and crashed onto the sidewalk in Harlem Wednesday afternoon.
The accident happened at Broadway and West 135th Street around 2:15 p.m.
46-year-old Lisette Ventura of Washington Heights was the front passenger of a car struck by a van, as it tried to make a left turn.
Both vehicles ended up on the sidewalk.
A pedestrian, the car's driver and two infant passengers suffered non life-threatening injuries.
