NEW YORK (WABC) -- Police are searching for two men pretending to be cops who are robbing people on Staten Island.
The NYPD released video of the men walking up to a house in the Woodrow section in early January.
The suspects apparently got into the home by saying they were police officers.
Once inside, one of them pulled a gun and robbed the people who live there.
The first suspect is described as a black male with a chipped front tooth. He was wearing a black baseball cap, black jacket, blue jeans, black gloves, brown boots and a police-type badge.
Police say the second suspect is a black male with a beard, who was wearing a black/red baseball cap, dark jacket, dark jeans and black boots.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
