NEW YORK (WABC) -- Seeing just one person on the subway with no pants on might be a surprise, but when you see thousands, you know it's okay.
Sunday was the 12th annual "No Pants Subway Ride."
Thousands of people boarded trains in just coats, scarves and underpants.
The prank started with a few members of an improv group trying to amuse fellow straphangers.
It is now a tradition in 59 cities worldwide.
