9 injured: 6 car crash on Verrazano Bridge

NEW YORK (WABC) -- There's been a 6 car crash on the Brooklyn-bound upper level of the Verrazano Narrows Bridge.

9 people were injured, 1 critically. The rest suffered non-life threatening injuries of varying severity.

The accident happened at around 2 p.m. on Monday.

All lanes on the Verrazano Narrows Bridge have been re-opened.
