NEW YORK (WABC) -- A school bus strike could disrupt the lives of thousands of children and parents to start the New Year.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg warned on Friday that the school bus drivers' union may call a strike right after the holiday break.
More than 152-thousand New York City students ride yellow buses to school.
If there is a strike, students and parents of young children would get metro-cards, and parents who drive kids to school would be reimbursed.
