teaneck lumber accident

A big cleanup was under way in New Jersey Friday after a tractor trail toppled and spilled its load over the highway.

NewsCopter7 was over the scene on Route 80 in Teaneck.

The driver of the big rig lost control just before 6 a.m., dumping hundreds of pieces of lumber all over the off-ramp to the New Jersey Turnpike.

Eastbound lanes off Route 80 were blocked for hours, with crews working throughout the morning to clean up the debris and remove the truck. Traffic began flowing again late Friday morning.
