Bullet casing discovered on Newark Airport flight

NEWARK (WABC) -- A disturbing discovery was found on a flight bound for Newark Airport.

Someone found a bullet casing on a United airliner after it took off from London Saturday.

The discovery prompted air marshals to wait for the jet's arrival at Newark Airport in the afternoon.

Passengers say they were not aware of the discovery until after they had already landed.
