Police arrested 54-year-old Angel Laporte, of Selden, after reports he exposed himself and committed a lewd act in a Barnes and Noble bookstore in East Northport on Friday.

Investigators say he previously exposed himself at two libraries in the area, at the Deer Park Public Library on January 5, 2013, and at the Commack Public Library and the West Babylon Public Library on May 7, 2012.

Laporte is also wanted by the New Milford Police Department in Connecticut, for three warrants for failing to register as a sex offender. The New Milford Police Department has been notified of his arrest.

The Special Victim's Unit is also investigating.

Laporte was charged with four counts of public lewdness.
