UPTON (WABC) -- Parts of Long Island got more than three inches of snow late Monday.
Strong winds and frigid temperatures are expected on Tuesday.
Meteorologists say Brookhaven and southern and eastern communities received over three inches of snow.
Cold temperatures are expected for the rest of the week.
The slick conditions were to blame for at least one accident on Route 25 that involved an overturned car.
Police say a driver was going too fast and flipped over.
No injuries were reported.
