Car crashes into Long Island pharmacy twice

WADING RIVER (WABC) -- A big mess was left behind after a car crashed into a Pharmacy on Long Island - twice.

The wild crash happened in Wading River about 6:00 on Sunday evening.

Police say the car slammed into the side of the building, knocking a hole in the wall. The driver then slammed into the front of the store, damaging the doors.

The pharmacy was open for business at the time, but no one inside was hurt.

The driver of the car was taken to the hospital.
