LONG ISLAND (WABC) -- There have been more resignations at LIPA a top executive and a board member.
Bruce Germano, the Vice President of Customer Service, will leave at the end of the year.
Germano released a statement saying, "My decision to leave is purely a personal decision. My time at LIPA included many exciting and rewarding experiences. I truly enjoyed working with the skilled, hard working and dedicated staff throughout my time here. I look forward to pursuing other interests and most importantly spending time with my family."
X. Cristofer Damianos, on the Board of Trustees is resigning effective immediately. LIPA released a statement saying that Damianos has left to "focus on his business".
LIPA's CEO Michael Hervey announced earlier in November that he would leave at the end of the year.
The next scheduled LIPA board meeting is December 13th. Tuesday's Finance & Audit Committee meeting was cancelled and will be rescheduled.
