Caught on video: Seal hops onto family's boat

AUSTRALIA (WABC) -- A family got quite the unexpected visitor while boating off the east coast of Australia.

A playful young seal jumped aboard their speed boat, and he liked it so much he decided to stick around for awhile.

The Murray family caught the amazing encounter on video camera.

Officials say it's apparently the same little guy who leapt onto a ferry days earlier.

So skillful at jumping aboard boats, his newfound friends think he has "boat-hopped" all the way from south Australia.
